3. Collecting And Storing Personal Data And How And Why We Use Such Data

3.1. LOG-FILES

For simple matters, the claimant will receive a response within a maximum of ten days from the date the letter submitting the complaint is received. For more complex matters, acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the claimant within ten days. If it is not possible to provide a response within this one-month period, the claimant will be contacted by Tareno (Luxembourg) SA and provided with an explanation of the reasons for the delay and an estimated date for the response.

DATA PROTECTION

Since 25 May 2018, Tareno (Luxembourg) SA processes personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A natural person is deemed to be identifiable if he/she can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to his/her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, cultural, social or economic identity.

“Personal Data Processing” means all uses of such data, such as collection, recording, organisation, retention, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making data available, as well as the alignment or combination, locking, erasure or destruction of data.

Personal data that may be collected and processed:

Personal data processing

Processing is limited to your data for which there is a direct relationship with the initial purpose of the processing. The information processed is necessary to achieve such purpose and, therefore, includes data for which there is a direct relationship. Every effort is made to ensurethat the data processed is correct and current. In addition, data is treated confidentially and stored in secure locations places and on secure equipment. We have taken appropriate organisational, technical and physical measures to ensure the data is protected and to prevent accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, or unauthorised disclosure of or access to the data.
